Community Attendant Services (CAS)
Community Attendant Services (CAS) is a non-technical, medically related personal care service that is available to eligible adults whose health problems cause them to be functionally limited in performing activities of daily living.

Community Living Support Services (CLASS)
Community Living Assistance and Support Services (CLASS) provides home and community-based services to people with related conditions as a cost effective alternative to placement in an intermediate care facility for persons with mental retardation or a related condition (ICF-MR/RC).

Deaf-Blind Multiple Disabilities (DBMD)
Deaf-Blind with Multiple Disabilities (DBMD) provides home and community-based services to people who are deaf-blind with multiple disabilities as a cost effective alternative to institutional placement.

Home and Community-Based Service (HCS)
The Home and Community-based Service Program (HCS) provides individualized services and supports to persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities who are living with their family, in their own home or in other community settings, such as small group homes. The CDS option is offered only to those HCS clients who are living with their family or in their own home.

Medically Dependent Children Program (MDCP)
The Medically Dependent Children Program (MDCP) provides services to support families caring for children who are medically dependent and to encourage de-institutionalization of children in nursing facilities. Personal Care Services (PCS)
Personal Care Services (PCS) is a non-technical, medically related personal care service that is available to eligible children and young adults under the age of 21 whose health problems cause them to be functionally limited in performing activities of daily living. PCS services are provided under STAR Kids through managed care organizations. In some circumstances they are provided through the Department of State Health Services. STAR+PLUS is a Medicaid managed care program designed to provide health care, acute and long-term services and support through a managed care system. This program provides selected essential services and supports to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who live in their family homes or their own homes.
