Community Attendant Services (CAS) is a non-technical, medically related personal care service that is available to eligible adults whose health problems cause them to be functionally limited in performing activities of daily living.

Community Living Assistance and Support Services (CLASS) provides home and community-based services to people with related conditions as a cost effective alternative to placement in an intermediate care facility for persons with mental retardation or a related condition (ICF-MR/RC).

Deaf-Blind with Multiple Disablities (DBMD) provides home and community-based services to people who are deaf-blind with multiple disabilities as a cost effective alternative to institutional placement.

Family Care (FC) is a non-skilled, non technical attendant care service available to eligible adults who are functionally limited in performing activities of daily living.

The Home and Community-based Service Program (HCS) provides individualized services and supports to persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities who are living with their family, in their own home or in other community settings, such as small group homes. The CDS option is offered only to those HCS clients who are living with their family or in their own home.

The Medically Dependent Children Program (MDCP) provides services to support families caring for children who are medically dependent and to encourage de-institutionalization of children in nursing facilities. Personal Care Services (PCS) is a non-technical, medically related personal care service that is available to eligible children and young adults under the age of 21 whose health problems cause them to be functionally limited in performing activities of daily living. PCS services are provided under STAR Kids through managed care organizations. In some circumstances they are provided through the Department of State Health Services.
